For over 30 years, Cindy Orlovsky has served clients in the Johnstown Area. She began her career as a payroll accountant after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. After becoming a mother, she began preparing tax returns and opened her own practice in Windber, PA. As the business grew, she returned to school to obtain her MBA from Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA.
In 2005, Cindy became affiliated with Avantax, added other financial services and investment advice to the business. In 2009, she received the Certified Financial Planner TM designation. The business eventually evolved from a tax practice to a comprehensive financial services firm.
Cindy holds securities licenses for Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam) with Avantax Investment ServicesSM, as well as life, health, accident, annuities, and insurance licenses. She is an Investment Advisory Representative* (IAR) with Avantax Advisory ServicesSM.
Cindy and her husband, John, have two sons and five grandchildren. In her leisure she enjoys walking, beach life, crafting jewelry, reading and spending time with her family, especially the grandkids.
